Ahhhh Bridal prep. You know that time on the day of the wedding where the Bride starts to prepare herself for her wedding day. Sometimes this event can last hours and leave you feeling overwhelmed by the time your photography and videography team arrive to start filming and clicking away. As a wedding photographer for almost a decade, I am here to tell you that Bridal prep CAN BE FUN TOO! Here are a few tips I know work well for my lovely #klpbrides. Pick a location that you don't feel cramped in and has plenty of room for your bridesmaids, hired professionals and family. Venues like Mallard Island Yacht Club, Bonnet Island Estate , Clark's Landing Yacht Club and The Park Chateau are beautiful examples of venues with spacious breathtaking Bridal suites. Make sure that the prep area or suite is clean and bright with lots of happy sunlight! Include personalized props from places like Etsy to bring cheer to the room! Adorn the tables and seats with fresh greens. Ditch the water bottles and get some champagne glasses! Place your floral arrangements and bouquets all around the room so the fragrance in the room is fresh and not overpowered with hairspray and designer perfumes. Take some time to enjoy a snack since cocktail hour is still hours away. And most importantly, hire professionals to help you prepare and capture this time professionally and with the least amount of stress possible. Not budgeting right can leave you with less than favorable vendors and this day will only come once so make sure you plan accordingly with an efficient, creative and fun team of wedding professionals!
